I also hate

When I am walking out of, lets say the business school, and I am presented with 2 doors. I choose one and it for some reason or other is locked. So now I feel like a dumbass even though there are no signs indicating that this door is locked. I think it's because of that brief moment that you have to spend realizing the door you just failed to go through is locked.

I hate that too.

That particular door has been broken since my freshman year, there used to be huge signs, now it's just a part of the hive mind's knowledge. Succumb to the hive mind and you shall know our secrets.

Do I have to succumb to a particular hive mind, like the business school hive mind? I only ask because I've already succumbed to several other hive minds. It's not a huge deal, but I already have to do a ton of reading to keep up with the "universal" cultural references as it is. I'm not saying that ensconcing myself in yet another hive mind lies entirely outside of the realm of my ability, but there exists an overhead to consider.
