Some History

Julian De La Garza. He's one of my ancestors. He was killed by Comanches just before Mexican troops marched through his Nueces adjacent land on the way to Slaughter Fanin and his boys at Goliad. Back in 1836.

I just learned this today. While that land was technically Mexico back then it makes me feel a little more connected with good 'ol Texas.
